THE ILLUSION

THE ILLUSION PROFILE :
More psychological than musical, The ILLUSION created a sound bordering on the distortion and was an affront to the very fundamentals of what a "rock" band should or even could be. The combination of noise and nonsense, any and all things childish, exaggerated, and irrational, resulted in an incredible cacophony that transports you back to a time when you still believed illusion lived under your brain. 

With that foundation, we simply wrote and played music without a care in the world, finding strange joys and comforts in the confusion that was often instilled upon the innocent bystanders who found themselves within our walls. The ground often seemed to tremble, if only in our audience's minds, from an emotionally threatening, dark, ambient noise. Flames turned to ash and back to flames again over the years, leaving even us questioning the status of our existence.
